The Talent Acquisition Specialist works a hybrid work schedule, reporting to the Princeton site a minimum of 2-3 days per week or as needed.

Summary:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is a key member of the Human Resources team, with a strong focus on full-cycle recruitment and onboarding for all non-exempt positions. This role partners closely with hiring managers to ensure a positive candidate experience and leads the coordination and facilitation of new hire orientation and onboarding logistics. In addition to recruiting responsibilities, the Talent Acquisition Specialist maintains accurate employee records in the HRIS, ensures job descriptions remain up to date, and supports employee engagement by helping plan and execute company events and recognition initiatives. This position works closely with hiring managers and the broader HR team to deliver a seamless, high-quality candidate and employee experience while fostering a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
Essential Functions:
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for all non-exempt roles, including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interview scheduling, and offer coordination, with a focus on delivering a positive candidate experience.
- Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements, ideal candidate profiles, and streamline interview processes.
- Maintain a strong candidate pipeline through proactive sourcing, job boards, referrals, networking, and outreach.
- Support employer branding efforts by coordinating job fairs, outreach, and enhancing the company’s presence on social media and job platforms
- Coordinate pre-boarding and onboarding activities, including background checks, new hire paperwork, equipment setup coordination, and welcome communications.
- Facilitate new hire orientation and assist with onboarding schedules for new hires.
- Ensure new employees are properly introduced to systems, policies, and company culture.
- Monitor onboarding feedback and identify opportunities for improvement for an enhanced new hire experience.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS, including new hires, status changes, and terminations.
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with internal processes and external regulations.
- Collaborate with HRBP and leadership team to maintain accurate and current job descriptions.
- Process invoices related to recruitment and pre-employment expense
- Assist in planning and executing employee engagement activities, company events, and recognition programs.
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and collaborative workplace culture through supportive interactions and thoughtful contributions.
- Assist with HR communications, projects, and initiatives as needed.
- Serve as a point of contact for basic HR policy questions or procedural inquiries.
- Perform all other related duties as assigned

Required Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Human Resources or related field
- 2-5 years of prior HR experience with a strong focus on talent acquisition and onboarding.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred Education & Experience:
- Current professional HR credential holder (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR).
- Experience working with Google Workspace, MS Office, recruiting platforms and UKG.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This role does not currently have regular direct supervisory responsibilities
Work Location & Travel Required:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist works a hybrid work schedule, reporting to the Princeton site a minimum of 2-3 days per week or as needed. Minimal travel required (<5%).
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
Work is performed primarily in an office setting (company site or home office). This position requires the ability to sit and use a computer for extended periods of time, including the dexterity to frequently type on a keyboard. This position may perform job responsibilities in the manufacturing plant or warehouse on occasion. On such occasions, appropriate PPE will be required as directed by the Safety & Security Manager.

Starting Pay Range:
65,000 - 80,000 Annually
Where a candidate falls within the pay range will vary based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, geographic location, education, skills and experience.
