Beacon Mobility is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support the Regional Talent Acquisition Manager for Transit Team, Inc. The talent acquisition specialist will be a working with an abbreviated territory and will support with the administrative tasks set forth by the TA manager. The TA specialist will also encompass an objective standpoint and be the go-to person to support the TA team.

Pay range is $60-$75,000 based on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Regional Talent Acquisition Manager.
  • Recruit and retain an active driver/monitor pipeline for your assigned region.
  • Work in partnership with Hiring Managers to fill open positions in a timely manner.
  • Able to source hard-to-fill roles.
  • Open and close job requisitions via ATS.
  • Make sure postings are displayed on our company websites.
  • Forward resumes for FTE positions to hiring managers in a timely manner.
  • Become a subject matter expert for recruiting functions in Workday.
  • Display strong business acumen, staying current on the recruiting industry and on competitors' Talent Acquisition strategy.
  • Take a proactive approach to identify creative recruitment methods to increase candidate pipeline
  • Track and record key metrics from the recruiting dashboards in Workday.
  • Act as a support person to the Central Region recruiting team.
  • Liaison between Transit Team Operation Managers and TA Recruiting manager.
  • Backup to TA manager when unavailable.
  • Makes sure requests from leadership team is fulfilled.
  • Understanding of metric data and trends.
  • Continues partnerships with outside organizations.
  • Objective standpoint with any employee related issues and use the VP of talent management as a sounding board. (Making sure to take detailed notes)
  • Able to meet with the VPs of operations to discuss recruiting roadblocks and recruiter feedback in their region.
  • Ensures all recruiting initiatives are followed through.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 3-6 Years’ experience in Talent Acquisition/Recruiting.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and to react to shifting priorities to satisfy employee and business needs.
  • Process, policy, and detail oriented; strong analytical and organizational skills are a must.
  • Technology savvy with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication (oral and written), and listening skills.
  • Ability to successfully work as an individual or as part of a team.
  • Ability to travel through Transit Team and Midwest Paratransit locations and hiring events.
  • Experience with Workday a plus.
