The Talent Partner role sits within the HR team and reports into the Director of Human Resources. The Talent Partner will have responsibility for ensuring Jellycat attracts and sources the right talent to support the business in North America during a period of hyper-growth. They will collaborate with hiring managers to effectively manage the end-to-end recruitment process while providing an exceptional candidate experience.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  • Ability to work cross functionally with North America leadership and the UK recruiting team to create and implement Jellycat’s recruitment strategy.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to understand resource needs and advise on appropriate talent solutions (permanent and temporary).
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, supporting hiring managers to attract the right talent to the business.
  • Taking detailed job briefs, reviewing and updating job descriptions and advising managers on the appropriate recruitment and selection strategies.
  • Ownership of the whole candidate journey and experience.
  • Point of contact for recruitment agencies and regular review of service and fees.
  • Effective use of Applicant Tracking System.
  • Manage job boards and social channels (LinkedIn and Glassdoor).
  • Participate in interviews and advise on candidate evaluation, determining appropriate shortlisting criteria.
  • Administrate and promote the employee referral program.
  • Support the People Team with long-term project work as required.
  • Provide regular analysis and reports to the NA leadership team on the number and status of vacancies.
  • Incorporate and infuse Jellycat core values throughout the hiring process.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Experience, Skills and Behaviors:

  • Proven external and internal recruitment experience.
  • At least 2 years experience recruiting positions nationwide.
  • Good working knowledge of relevant North America Employment Law.
  • Previous experience of working with Applicant Tracking Systems / HR systems and MS Office.
  • Has a personable and efficient manner that reflects the ethos of the brand.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently.
  • A genuine team player who is flexible, positive, and enjoys building professional relationships.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
