Essential Functions

• Build, maintain and train staff on the current Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to ensure accuracy and efficiency in the recruiting process
• Develop/update job descriptions and job specifications to ensure accuracy and maintain compliance with state and federal laws
• Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate internal and external job boards
• Manage and research strategy development for each open position, including identifying potential sourcing resources such as professional associations
• Screen candidate resumes/applications and assess applicants' relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience, and aptitudes for selection
• Conduct pre-screen interviews, and formal interviews as necessary
• Extend employment offers and complete all pre-employment screening, following through on the background and drug screening process to completion
• Build relationships with local colleges as appropriate and attend career fairs regularly
• Responsible for onboarding of all new hires, seasonal and temporary staff
• Conduct exit interviews
• Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practice

Qualifications

• Associate degree in business, human resources, or related discipline AND two years’ experience working as a recruiter (either an in-house recruiter or a staffing agency recruiter)
• Prior experience with various selection processes including virtual interviewing, reference checks etc.
• Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems and Candidate Management Systems (CMS)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to set priorities and exercise independent judgement
• Must be detail oriented and thorough in completing work tasks
• Ability to act with integrity, professionalism and maintain confidentiality
