Job Summary

The Talent Acquisition Partner is an experienced professional who plays a crucial role in attracting, sourcing and hiring top talent for MNTC.  This position is responsible for full-cycle recruiting and recruitment marketing/branding, including partnering with hiring managers to develop talent acquisition strategies, leading recruitment marketing/branding initiatives, sourcing candidates for open positions, conducting recruitment processes, and ensuring positive candidate experiences. They also participate in career fairs and use metrics to analyze recruitment data and trends.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The essential functions include the following:

  • Plans and implements MNTC’s talent acquisition strategy based on goals and needs.
  • Develops talent acquisition strategies and hiring plans to source, assess and hire new talent to meet staffing needs.
  • Partners with hiring managers for a smooth recruitment process, conducting a recruitment strategy session with them and ensuring ongoing communication and timely process management.
  • Builds strong relationships with hiring managers and other internal stakeholders.
  • Maintains up to date candidate status tracking and records in ATS system.
  • Sources active and passive candidates, developing candidate pipelines and pools through research, networking, online channels (social platforms, job boards), databases, referrals and attraction strategies
  • Attends college and industry specific job fairs and recruitment events
  • Establishes relationships with targeted colleges, key organizations and associations to build awareness and market employment opportunities.
  • Maintains key relationships with college clinical intern programs, developing strategies to attract and hire students from them.
  • Partners with MNTC programs to manage the cycle of recruitment for clinical interns (LADC, LPC, LPCC, LMFT, LPN, RN) and post-internship conversion to full-time positions.
  • Evaluates which sources bring the best candidates and identifies new candidate sources
  • Reviews resumes, conducts screening interviews, summarizes candidate qualifications, and recommends candidates to hiring managers.
  • Ensures timely and effective communication with candidates regarding their status and next steps in the recruitment process.
  • Assists hiring managers in designing interview questions that reflect a position’s unique requirements
  • Consults with hiring manager on employment offers and involves HR Business Partners on any exceptions to guidelines.
  • Assists in creation and delivery of offer letter to candidates, ensures background checks are completed and coordinates new hire onboarding processes
  • Ensures a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Provides candidates with information about MNTC’s mission, values, culture of honor, programs and position expectations
  • Plans and implements a Recruitment Marketing and Employer Branding strategy to attract high quality applicants
  • Prepares reports on the status of open positions, recruitment metrics and areas for improvement
  • Maintains in depth knowledge of recruitment and selection policies and procedures to serve as an internal resource for staff.
  • Stays abreast of labor market trends and conditions impacting recruitment.
  • Adheres to all federal, state and local laws and regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Skills & Experience (Minimum Qualifications):

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, or other related field or equivalent work experience
  • 3 years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, sourcing and employment branding
  • Advanced skills using Applicant Tracking Systems (UKG preferred) and software to manage the recruitment cycle and maintain connection with candidates
  • Proficient in the use of social media, job boards, databases and cutting-edge software to source and attract candidates
  • Experience in the continual development of talent pipelines and sourcing potential candidates
  • Experience developing and executing recruitment marketing and branding strategies
  • Proficient understanding of all selection methods and techniques
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate persuasively and professionally
  • Firm understanding and use of recruiting metrics to drive decision-making
  • Ability and willingness to learn about position duties and requirements to enhance candidate sourcing and selection.
  • Active learner, passionate about continuously evolving Talent Acquisition methods and strategies
  • Strong critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of related employment laws
  • Able to plan, organize and prioritize time/workload to accomplish tasks; strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds at a time.
