The Director of Talent Acquisition will develop and implement robust strategies to attract and hire qualified talent. The Talent Acquisition director will partner with the company’s leaders to enable growth by assessing needs and developing talent acquisition solutions to meet staffing needs. The Director of Talent Acquisition will oversee day-to-day talent acquisition operations including direct management of Talent Acquisition Partners to ensure end-to-end talent acquisition services are executed while building a strong employment brand. This is a hybrid role based out of the Home Office in Oakdale, MN.
This is meant to be a general description of the most essential functions of this role. Other duties may be assigned.
- Partner with leaders to identify talent forecasting, trends, and placement strategies
- Design and execute TA strategies that enhance the organization’s visibility and reputation in key recruiting markets
- Analyze recruitment trends to stimulate future recruitment activity and improve quality of candidates
- Build a pipeline and develop a culture that increases candidate flow and hiring manager involvement in the recruiting process
- Improve sources, processes, and KPIs related to recruiting key positions
- Implement new sourcing methods and evaluate existing methods
- Document and solidify our TA approach and process
- Assess and drive improvements to our Applicant Tracking System as well as any other HR systems relevant to the TA process
- In partnership with other teams, develop and execute TA programs and processes that support the company’s hire the best, diversity and inclusion strategies
- Operates with the highest degree of integrity
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, HR, or relevant discipline
- 10+ years’ experience in the TA space with proven ability to lead a team of internal and third-party recruiters
- 7+ years’ experience recruiting for all functions and at all levels in an organization.
- 5+ years’ experience managing people, projects, and / or processes
- Ability to take into account and leverage changing workforce norms, search technologies and tools
- Significant knowledge with Applicant Tracking Systems, job boards and employment-related social media
- Capability to interpret data from internal and external sources to measure success, evaluate tools and processes and predict trends
- Strong communication skills in both written and oral formats; negotiation, project management, and leadership skills
- Initiative-taking individual who loves to learn and take on new responsibilities
- Strong collaborator, detail-oriented and can adjust and adapt to changing priorities
- CTAS, PHR and/or SPHR certifications preferred
- Ability to travel 10-15%
- Experience in human resource management systems
- Expertise in Talent Acquisition and the entire employee lifecycle
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- In depth understanding of employee labor laws
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
- Proficient in the English language. Able to read, speak, and write English in a clear and concise manner required.
