In this role you will be an integral part of the company as you put your talents to work to source and recruit candidates via a variety of methods to fill a wide range of positions across our multiple locations. As the hiring process continues, you will participate in multiple aspects including interviews, candidate selection decisions, preparing offer letters, candidate acceptance, and other activities leading up to their arrival on their first day at Nott Company. You will be able to further engage with new employees as you guide them through the onboarding process to ensure a successful start to their careers.

What you’ll be doing:

  • In conjunction with and in support of management needs, develop and implement effective recruitment processes and strategies to acquire talent
  • Develop/update job descriptions, source candidates through various means, write attractive and effective job ads, screen and interview candidates
  • Prepare and present offer letters, manage the background check and drug testing process
  • Manage the onboarding process for new employees including timely, proper completion of new hire forms and setup in HRIS system
  • Maintain HRIS system and Performance Management systems, personnel files, and job descriptions in accordance with applicable legal requirements
  • Serve as a resource to employees for human resource needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications you’ll need to be successful:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business preferred, PHR or SHRM-CP certification highly desired
  • 2-5 years recruiting experience, manufacturing industry strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to source candidates through various means including LinkedIn, recruitment websites, referrals, educational institutions, etc.
  • Knowledge of employment law as it relates to talent acquisition
  • Polished written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work with others to make good hiring decisions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Work Hours: Monday through Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm (full time, in person)

*Note: Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and pre-employment drug/alcohol test.
