The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a crucial role in the organization's recruitment and talent acquisition efforts. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, this role involves actively sourcing, evaluating, and hiring candidates who align with the company's staffing needs and cultural values.

What you will be doing

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and ensure a smooth interview and selection process.
  • Use a variety of sourcing methods, such as job boards, social media, referrals, and networking, to identify and attract potential candidates. Build a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future job openings.
  • Review resumes and applications to assess candidates' qualifications and experience. Conduct initial phone screens and interviews to evaluate candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Maintain open and effective communication with candidates throughout the hiring process. Provide a positive candidate experience by offering information, answering questions, and offering support.
  • Coordinate interviews, assessments, and reference checks as needed.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of the organization's employer brand to attract top talent. Ensure that all job listings and recruitment materials accurately represent the company and its culture.
  • Ensure that all recruitment activities comply with employment laws and regulations.
  • Promote diversity and inclusion in the hiring process.
  • Maintain accurate records of all recruitment activities, including candidate tracking and status updates.

What We Look for

Basic Qualifications

  • Associates degree or equivalent experience
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, sales, or a related role
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment strategies and candidate sourcing techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with diversity recruitment initiatives and strategies
  • Experience with employer branding and social media recruitment
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems and HRIS software
  • Experience at a recruiting agency
  • PHR or other certification
