Dedicated to supporting the recruiting organization with a focus on hiring high-quality Insurance Advisors. Drive recruiting results across Recruiting Director territories through supplemental lead generation, focused pipeline management, targeted field training and execution of IEAR strategy. Demonstrate and maintain strong fundamental knowledge of insurance products, competition, payouts and Ameriprise insurance value proposition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a key stakeholder across all EAR business partners (coordinator team, S&E team, recruiting manager team, product partners, compliance, on-boarding, tech, etc.) to ensure consistency in support resources for Insurance Advisors in all platforms (AAG, AFG, AFIG). Demonstrate and maintain strong fundamental knowledge of insurance products, competition and insurance value proposition. Influence key partners to improve product set to become more competitive across the industry.

  • Support candidate progression through the process by providing coaching and direct partnership with recruiters and field leaders.  Partner closely with Ameriprise Insurance and Annuity home-office team to ensure strategy is appropriate for external recruiting. Communicate advisor recruiting status and results effectively to internal leaders and external search firms.

  • Travel into the field and partner directly with DVP and RVP regions for all three platforms, providing training on the Insurance Advisor opportunity. Build and maintain training material relevant to the audience's needs. Hold candidate initial meetings on behalf of and with RD's and field leaders, as needed.

  • Supplement Ameriprise sourcing strategy by developing and maintaining close relationship with key external search firm partners. Ensure they understand the insurance advisor value proposition and assist in telling it when necessary. Share insurance success stories to drive additional activity.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent.

  • 7 - 10 years relevant experience required.

  • Strong understand of recruiting in financial services and insurance industry.

  • Ability to implement change while driving results and accountability. 

  • Ability to work independently.

  • Demonstrated strong organization and project management skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

  • Outstanding relationship management, negotiation, and collaborating/influencing skills in working across field and internal/external partners.

  • Demonstrated ability to assess readiness and to coach and develop others.

  • Strong analytical skills and detail orientation.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Support diversity hiring efforts.
