Job Description
U.S. Bank is looking for a Talent Consultant to join the Human resources team, supporting Operations employees. In this role, you’ll provide human capital strategy to executives leading our banking, card, and retail support contact centers, as well as our customer service center support teams. The majority of the employee population is non-exempt, a key consideration as the person in this role is chartered to think about long term strategies and advise leaders on talent strategy to support the near and long-term business goals. Formerly referred to as Senior Human Resources Business Partners, the Talent Consultant role has evolved to provide a greater focus on strategy while partnering with our centers of excellence to ensure a continuity in tactical support coverage. With the support of a robust system of centers of excellence (Recruiting, Talent and Culture, DEI, Learning and Development, People Analytics, Employee services and HR Strategy and Operations), Talent consultants can focus on large-scale talent challenges and opportunities.
Talent consultants partner closely with leaders on a wide variety of talent topics, including:
Attrition, retention and engagement
Talent upskilling, training and development
Organizational design and effectiveness
Talent review and pipelines
Efficiency and effectiveness
Location: Hybrid in posted locations. Team members who are in a hybrid role typically spend three days a week at a U.S. Bank location, while having flexibility on their work location for the other working days.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or related field, or equivalent work experience
10 or more years of human resources, business or managerial experience
Preferred Skills/Experience
Ideal candidate has combination of Human Resources experience and Call Center/Contact Center/Operations business line exposure
Thorough knowledge and understanding of HR disciplines/COEs and operational inner workings
Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative data, recognize trends and recommend action
Ability to recognize needs, solve problems, anticipate issues, and develop employee centric solutions using strong analytical, business and financial acumen
Financial services industry experience a plus, experience supporting large teams and large scale operations is helpful
Highly skilled interpersonal and communication skills, particularly in building relationships with business leaders and presenting to senior leaders

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, US Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401k contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $119,595.00 - $140,700.00 - $154,770.00
