The Manager, Talent Acquisition will be responsible to lead our Talent Acquisition function including a team of three recruitment team members to fill new jobs at the manager level and below across Canada and US. As a player coach who also manages a recruitment portfolio you will be a high impact business partner to all business units and people leaders and identify and address talent opportunities, implement sourcing tools and processes, further build on existing and established programs around diversity, equity and inclusion and employer branding, and assure highest level of service delivery and commitment to talent acquisition excellence.  This position is a hybrid role based out of our US hub location in Minnesota working 3 days a week in the office.

Duties and Responsibilities

Execute and deliver on Talent Acquisition Strategy:

  • Plan and implement the talent acquisition strategy to attract top talent into the organization, ensuring a smooth process for internal clients and candidates.
  • Continue to define new strategies and tactics for identifying, engaging, and hiring the best talent.
  • Build robust talent pipelines that tap into networks, and communities.
  • Create an exceptional candidate experience that represents our employee experience.

Performance Measurement:

  • Leverage multiple reporting mechanisms to track the progress and overall effectiveness of the team.

Partnership and Relationship Building:

  • Develop key partnerships with the business and cross functional groups (e.g., HR business partners, hiring managers, employee experience) to ensure we drive our performance, growth, and delivery of a consistent, superior client experience.

Improving and Implementing Processes:

  • Translate the overall Talent Acquisition strategy to supporting processes to meet performance goals and metrics.
  • Identify opportunities to continuously improve processes and leverage. technology and tools to enhance the talent acquisition experience.
  • Provide mentorship to your team of Talent Acquisition Consultants and Coordinator.
  • Create and maintain recruitment metrics and KPIs, and report on outcomes to drive accountability and efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent business experience.
  • 10 years of progressive and hands-on Talent Acquisition experience, with a focus on high-growth companies.
  • Must have extensive experience with US Federal Contractor Compliance.
  • Experience recruiting corporate positions in technology and sales environments and high-volume functions.
  • Metrics-driven with experience in using data and talent market insights to influence and drive decisions with hiring teams.
  • Experience managing recruitment vendor relationships and establishing service level agreements.
  • Track record of being a partner to managers across a variety of functional areas as well as demonstrated capability to interface and maintain effective relationships with all departments and staff.
  • Expert knowledge and experience in implementing TA programs in compliance with legislative requirements across Canadian and US markets.
