The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As the Americas Talent Acquisition & Compliance Lead, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Managing full lifecycle recruiting capabilities and performance across the Americas (LATAM, US and Canada)
- Providing direct leadership and development to a team of talent acquisition specialists
- Leading Americas Talent Acquisition (TA) compliance processes and identify compliance process improvements
- Ensuring Americas TA team compliance with all hiring protocols through delivery of training, answering/escalating questions, and monitoring critical items
- Assess and implement new recruiting strategies which consistently deliver on strategic business objectives
- Obtain deep understanding of and remain current in compliance area (in accordance with country specific, state, and local laws as well as OFCCP compliance)
- Partnering with key stakeholders to determine talent needs and activate strategies to acquire talent
- Assist with investigations; research and provide information to Legal and/or Employee Relations
- Ensuring the engagement of a broad diversified talent pool and delivery of positive candidate experiences
- Leveraging relevant data and insights to provide strategic recommendations and enhance recruiting processes
- Collaborating with global HR teams as needed to streamline recruiting deliverables
- Supporting recruiting activities through professional partnerships and events
- Leading and participating in other prioritized activities within the Talent Acquisition team
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
OR
- High School Diploma/GED (completed and verified prior to start) and a minimum of fourteen (14) years of experience in Talent Acquisition Experience
- Seven (7) years of talent acquisition and/or human resources experience in a private, public, government or military environment
- One (1) year of experience managing direct reports
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Ten (10) years of talent acquisition experience
- Two (2) years of managing direct reports within Talent Acquisition teams
- Experience with talent acquisition compliance
- Experience with diversity recruiting initiatives
- Healthcare experience
- Understanding of employment law
- Knowledge of OFCCP and other countries' compliance regulations
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Candidate Relations Management (CRM) tools
- Demonstrated experience building teams, effective partnerships customer relationships at all levels of the organization
- Experience managing projects
Location: Remote US, Canada or LATAM
Travel: May include up to 15%

The expected compensation range for this position is $155,615 - $190,196, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
