Job Description:

We have an opportunity for a Recruitment Coordinator to join our human resources team at Regions Hospital. The Recruitment Coordinator provides support for the recruitment team including:

Post-Offer Process:

  • Generates offer letters and sends out all new hire communication on behalf of recruiters
  • Initiates and monitors required background checks for all new hires
  • Establishes new hire employment file ensuring all required documents are included
  • Follows up with new hires regarding pre-hire requirements via phone, email and/or texting
  • Manages and updates new hire spreadsheet for tracking cleared-to-start progress and provides weekly updates to recruiters

Assists in recruitment and selection process:

  • Coordinates and schedules interviews with candidates in a timely manner
  • Sends out interview confirmation details to candidates, hiring leaders and other panelists
  • Assists in responding to questions from candidates regarding their application status
  • May assist with posting jobs at the recruiter’s direction
  • May conduct phone screens on occasion or coordinate informational interviews

This is a high volume role that requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and an aptitude for providing great customer service.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, labor/industrial relations, psychology or related program OR Previous HR experience or HR internship with current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program completed within 1 year of hire

Preferred Qualifications: Previous administrative, human resources support or HR internship
