Job Purpose:

Operates as a business partner to management in the area of recruitment. Ensures the coordination of all recruitment related activities for exempt and non-exempt staff, may initiate recruitment for executive level roles and do pre-screenings of applicants in assigned areas of accountability. Works independently in the context of broadly defined procedures. Typically requires an in-depth knowledge of the organization, interviewing skills, and recruitment techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition Strategy:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies and plans.
  • Identify creative sourcing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates, including utilizing job boards, social media, networking events, and industry-specific platforms.
  • Continuously explore innovative methods to enhance recruitment processes and ensure a strong pipeline of candidates.

Candidate Sourcing and Screening:

  • Utilize various channels to source and identify potential candidates, such as job boards, social media, professional networks, referrals, and direct sourcing.
  • Screen resumes and applications to assess qualifications and suitability for open positions.
  • Conduct initial phone screenings to evaluate candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring managers, ensuring a smooth and efficient recruitment process.

Selection and Onboarding:

  • Facilitate candidate evaluation processes, including coordinating and participating in interviews, assessments, and reference checks.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to evaluate candidates' qualifications, make recommendations, and reach consensus on hiring decisions.
  • Extend job offers to selected candidates and negotiate employment terms as necessary.
  • Support the onboarding process by providing relevant information to new hires and ensuring a positive candidate experience.

Recruitment Administration:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment records, applicant tracking system (ATS), and other relevant documentation.
  • Prepare and present regular reports and metrics on recruitment activities to management.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and recruitment best practices to enhance recruitment strategies and processes.

Years of Experience:

University Degree; Typically a minimum of 4 years work experience required
