The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for partnering with business divisions across Certified Power, Inc. to identify and attract top, diverse talent. This individual will serve as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor on best-in-class recruiting processes and initiatives by owning the full recruitment life cycle. This position requires a deep understanding of the business, its goals and culture, as well as the ability to identify and develop effective sourcing and recruitment strategies. The Talent Acquisition Specialist offers a best-in-class candidate experience that models our core values of integrity, collaboration, and accountability. They actively collaborate with leaders, their HR team of peers and other internal customers. This role reports to the Director of Human Resources.

Requirements

  • Manage the full cycle recruitment process, including screening, interviewing, and presenting qualified candidates to hiring managers.
  • Partner with the business to understand talent needs and develop strategies to attract diverse candidates. Completes intake meetings and guides managers in the recruiting process.
  • Source and attract candidates through various channels, including social media, job boards, networking events, employee referrals, and other innovative recruitment techniques. 
  • Evaluate candidates based on their engagement, behaviors, technical skills, and capabilities that drive our organization’s high-performance culture.  
  • Develops and maintains network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates. 
  • Deliver ‘best-in-class’ experience for all stakeholders, including candidates and hiring managers, by setting expectations, communicating timely updates, and providing actionable feedback.  
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to create a diverse talent pipeline.  
  • Create and implement improvements to optimize interview processes and internal workflows. 
  • Coordinates and facilitates panel and group interviews with hiring managers.
  • Coordinates participation in, sets up displays, and represents the organization at job fairs. Develops promotional materials and/or collaborates with the Marketing team to deliver.
  • Partners closely with the Marketing and Social Media team to promote hiring and career fairs.
  • Develops, makes presentations, and maintains contacts with schools, alumni groups, and other public organizations to find and attract applicants.
  • Works with external recruiters and employment agencies to identify and recruit candidates as needed.
  • Ensures compliance with all applicable laws and regulations regarding talent acquisition and employment practices.
  • Monitors and analyzes recruitment metrics to continuously improve the effectiveness of the recruitment process and provide regular reports to key stakeholders. 
  • Additionally, this role assists in the successful implementation of various Human Resources departmental initiatives and programs.
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in HR or Talent Acquisition required.
  • Prior experience with HRIS/Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs) technologies and recruiting tools.
  • Certifications in general HR practice or related field, such as SHRM or similar, preferred.
