Position Summary

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting the end-to-end recruitment process by assisting with administrative tasks, coordinating interviews, and ensuring a smooth candidate and new hire experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong multitasking abilities, and a passion for providing exceptional talent acquisition support.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Recruitment Support:

  • Assists in the coordination and execution of recruitment activities, including job postings, initial candidate review and screening, and interview scheduling.
  • Conducts initial candidate assessments to evaluate qualifications and match against job requirements.
  • Coordinates and participates in recruitment events, such as job fairs and campus recruiting initiatives.
  • Ensures compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies throughout the recruitment process.

Interview Coordination:

  • Schedules and coordinates interviews, both in-person and virtual, ensuring alignment with candidate availability and interviewer schedules.
  • Prepares interview materials, including candidate profiles, interview guides, and assessment forms.
  • Communicates interview details to candidates and provide them with necessary information, such as interview location, directions, and logistics.
  • Coordinates travel arrangements and accommodations for out-of-town candidates, if required.

Candidate and New-Hire Experience:

  • Serves as the primary point of contact for candidates, providing timely and professional communication throughout the recruitment process.
  • Responds to candidate inquiries and provides updates on application status in a timely fashion.
  • Collects and analyzes candidate feedback and ensures it is shared with the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Serves as the primary point of contact during the onboarding process. 
  • Coordinates all new hire materials, schedules, and activities. 
  • Coordinates and assists with all monthly orientation events.
  • Supports the KAmbassador mentorship program
  • Continuously improves the candidate and new hire experience by identifying areas for enhancement and implementing process improvements.

Data Management and Reporting:

  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date recruitment records, including candidate information, interview feedback, and hiring metrics.
  • Generates recruitment reports and metrics to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to the Talent Acquisition team.

Campus Recruitment:

  • Coordinates and supports all Fall & Spring Campus recruitment events.
  • Schedules and serves as a liaison with campus career offices and program leaders.
  • Attends campus events when necessary.
  • Supports the Summer Internship Program. 

Collaboration and Relationship Building:

  • Collaborates closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and other stakeholders to understand hiring needs and priorities.
  • Develops and maintains positive relationships with candidates, ensuring a positive impression of KA and our recruitment process.
  • Liaises with external vendors, recruitment agencies, and educational institutions as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field (or equivalent work experience) 
  • 1-3 years of previous experience in a recruitment coordination role
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining data accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software applications.
  • Ability to maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment (listen, collaborate, and communicate)
  • Must maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee data, as well as information shared or acquired through position within the HR team 
  • Ability to possess and maintain exceptional work ethic as well as uphold company values and demand the highest standard of conduct

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Experience with ADP, including the Benefits Portal and Workforce Now.


  • Valid Driver's License and ability to maintain a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record. 
  • Travel, up to 10%

  • Navigate between office building floors, and on occasion, attend off-site meetings 
  • Lift up to 25 lbs. unassisted
