THE POSITION
Dessert Holdings is looking for a Recruiting Manager to join our growing team at the headquarters location in St Paul, Minnesota. This is a key role in supporting and fostering the growth of the premium dessert manufacturing company, and helping to build repeatable and sustainable processes and practices within the recruiting function. We’re looking for an eager Recruiting professional that will drive operational excellence, and act as an advocate for continued business performance and growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage full life cycle recruitment process for all salaried roles within the organization. Support the process for all roles, including hourly production. (post jobs, source, prescreen, schedule, background, references, offer, onboarding, etc.).
- Serve as a business partner with hiring managers to develop effective sourcing and recruitment strategies that result in client satisfaction. Develop effective relationships within the organization and the hiring community to have influence and impact the recruiting process and hiring.
- Create and maintain an inclusive environment to attract and create a competitive advantage.
- Own recruiting tools and systems, offering enhancements to existing systems and recommendations to future tools that drive impact to talent acquisition.
- Develop appropriate marketing strategies, define roles and responsibilities of hiring team, and develop service-level agreements to ensure an effective and efficient recruitment lifecycle while minimizing cost-per-hires.
- Work closely with the HRIS Analyst to collect and coordinate aggregate data for talent pool and translate those data into insights through data analysis that drives deliberate action plans at the appropriate levels.
- Develop and implement creative and innovative sourcing strategies and techniques to build a pipeline of qualified candidates.
- Lead the development of an internship program that can support the growth of future leaders within Dessert Holdings. Maintain this program and support the ongoing activities to ensure a positive experience.
- Build talent pipelines for current and future job openings, both salaried and hourly positions.
- Prepare and review our annual recruitment budget
- Oversee all stages of candidate experience (including application, interviews and communication).
- Participate in and host recruitment events to drive awareness of our company

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required, preferably in Talent Acquisition or HR. Master’s or other post-graduate degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related fields a plus
- Minimum 7 years full-cycle talent acquisition and recruiting operations experience
- Recent experience recruiting in multiple discipline areas and levels, including hiring exempt and leadership positions required.
- Experience in all areas of sourcing such as the internet, social media, networking, employee referrals, job postings, as well as conducting open houses and virtual job fairs.
- Experience in working with applicant tracking systems and affirmative action plan requirements.
- Experience supporting multiple locations, global recruiting experience is a plus.
- Experience in a high performing HR culture.
