Summary

CHS, Inc. has an exciting opportunity on our enterprise talent acquisition team. We are looking for a Recruiter to support full cycle recruiting for high volume roles at our Processing and Manufacturing locations. This role is responsible for attracting, sourcing, interviewing, and hiring new talent across a dispersed geography in collaboration with TA operations team, HR business partners, and hiring managers. In the addition, the experienced recruiter will be a strategic partner to business leaders to develop proactive talent pipelines and recruiting strategies for CHS.

This is a remote role with preference for a candidate located near one of our grain processing facilities and willing to work a hybrid schedule (IL, MN, ND).

Responsibilities

  • Identifies and sources appropriate talent for current seasonal, non-exempt, and exempt openings within the organization
  • Supports the CHS employment brand, diversity initiatives, and other programs
  • Supports the recruitment process and lifecycle, including job postings, resume review, interviews, assessments and offer process
  • Utilizes social media, job boards, internet sourcing, and other technical and creative channels to source passive candidates to build talent pipelines as a daily practice
  • Advises potential candidates on employee benefits, salary, incentive programs, and CHS culture
  • Provides sourcing support for other Talent Acquisition Recruiters including participating in Sourcing Blitz events
  • Focuses on providing a positive candidate experience for every candidate, by ensuring appropriate follow up & professional communications with candidates at all levels in the process
  • Provides a positive hiring manager experience and ensures regular updates to hiring managers is taking place
  • Advocates for & supports local recruiting events – including career fairs, as needed 
  • Uses applicant tracking system and other recruiting software to track applicants from the selection phase through to initiating onboarding
  • Supports relationships with third party recruitment agencies and staffing firms, as needed
  • Ensure that all candidates are accurately dispositioned in the applicant tracking system timely 
  • Provide sourcing and recruiting support for hard-to-fill roles within the team including seasonal, non-exempt, and exempt positions
  • Complies with all company policies and procedures

Minimum Qualifications (required)

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of experience in Human Resources and/or Talent Acquisition

Additional Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Industrial Psychology, Organizational Development, Psychology, Sociology, or related field.
  • Significant knowledge and proven success sourcing passive candidates for high-volume positions in a fast-paced environment 
  • Strong experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and how to leverage technology for recruitment
  • Experience in recruiting in processing and manufacturing industries is a plus 
  • Proactive with a high level of engagement, responsiveness, and execution
  • Resourceful with a proactive approach to finding solutions
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with people at all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to make independent decisions, manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment, and effectively interface with leaders and business partners 
  • Process and detail oriented, including strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Pre-employment screening is based on the job requirements and industry guidelines and may or may not be required for the position.
