Description
Recruiting & Onboarding
- Coordinates full cycle recruiting process: job postings, applicant screening, applicant interviews, applicant selection, pre-hire paperwork, new hire orientation, post-hire paperwork and data entry into HRIS.
- Assists with designing or developing, monitoring and assessing effective procedures, systems, plans, public presentations, and sources to recruit candidates for various positions.
- Tracks, reports and analyzes recruiting metrics. Provide recommendations for improvements.
- Assumes additional responsibilities as requested and necessary to maintain the integrity of the service area.
Marketing & Outreach
- Builds internal and external networks, community outreach, and marketing for vacancies.
- Develops effective recruiting materials online and printed.
- Develops and manages social media presence to expand Homeward Bound’s online presence and market job opportunities.
- Builds relationships with industry professionals such as colleges and community organizations to build a pipeline for diverse applicants.
- Travels regularly into the Twin Cities community.
Regulatory Compliance
- Develops and maintains a working knowledge of HR and recruiting laws and best practices, including new principles and technologies, to enhance the performance of assigned duties and responsibilities.
- Ensures candidate interviewing and hiring is compliant with state, local and federal laws, company policies and procedures, and position requirements.
Requirements
- Two years of related experience and/or education in Human Resources, Communications, Marketing, Business or related field required.
- Experience in the health and human services industry preferred.
- Proficiency with computers, smart phones, and other technology required.
- Meet the licensing, contractual, and other mandated requirements of the state and county.
- Valid Minnesota Driver’s License with acceptable record required, and reliable means of transportation for traveling in the community.
