This position provides extensive candidate mining and sourcing as well as recruitment support for M Health Fairview. The person in this position will provide an outstanding level of customer service and the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned customers based on a thorough understanding of their service line, specialties, staff and positions to ensure their needs are met.
This position is responsible for all aspects of locating talent and creation of pathways to help plan for both current and future needs. This will require strong partnerships with other human resources partners such as the recruitment specialist (s) and Human Resources Strategist (s), Hiring Managers, and key service line stakeholders to locate and bring top talent to MHealth Fairview. As one of the primary contacts for applicants and hiring leaders, this person will attend both local and national conferences, host job specific virtual and in- person events, collaborate with educational partners, work closely with current students and past students; select best advertising venues, source applicant pools and present them to the recruitment specialist and hiring leaders. The Talent Scout also helps with the development and coordination of Earn and Learn programs for their assigned area (s). Specialty area(s) will be assigned based on organization needs.
Responsibilities
- Utilize tools and resources to ensure we find top talent
- Partners with Operations Leaders and Workforce Colleagues on Grant Funding Opportunities.
- Evaluate candidates and present them to recruitment specialists and hiring leaders.
- Answer applicant and manager questions promptly by providing ongoing support and education to all customers
- Evaluate advertising options to ensure appropriate applicant pool are used to find key talent for the organization
- Partner with managers and HR colleagues to anticipate, meet and exceed leaders' expectations
- Understand business unit dynamics to address current needs and anticipate future ones
- Evaluate each candidate for qualifications, requirements, and key success factors to ensure successful fit
- Actively coordinate forecasting and sourcing to meet short term and long-term service line workforce needs.
- Proactively communicate with stakeholders and site leadership to impact decision making and facilitate change
- Subject matter expert on scouting, sourcing, recruitment trends, resources, processes and tools
- Actively participate in the design and implement services and delivery processes that are responsive to customers’ needs and support exceptional customer service
- Provide ongoing, continuous evaluation for responsible area assures accountability for financially solid and measurable results.
- Evaluate metrics and provide suggestions for improvement
- Demonstrated ability to think critically and act independently in order to balance and evaluate processes to impact change.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or related field.
- In lieu of Bachelor's degree, 2 years recruitment experience within healthcare or related field
Experience
- 3 years of successful track record of recruiting top talent in a health care field or related.
- At least one year of demonstrated experience leading groups/teams/projects
Preferred
- Five years of healthcare experience in a multi-union, multi-site environment.
- One year of leadership experience.
License/Certification/Registration
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP
Additional Requirements (must be obtained or completed within a period of time): Ideal candidate will have creative skills, relationship management, experienced headhunter sourcing specialist, willing to travel, work evenings and weekends if required. Self-starter, enterprising, resourceful, compelling communication skills Computer skills and knowledge of Applicant tracking systems. Act independently to solve problems. Seek creative opportunities to meet customer needs. Flexibility and follow-up skills are essential. Ability to make independent and objective decisions, prioritize tasks and handle pressure. Exceptional negotiation, facilitation and change management skills to ensure high levels customer service. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and decision-making skills. Knowledge of employment law and regulations and the ability to apply these laws to the work environment.
