The Field Talent Acquisition Partner manages the talent acquisition human resource function for the store operations in assigned divison to include staffing analysis, recruiting and retention. This role consults with and advises multi-level store operations managers to ensure all qualitative measures of people hiring and management are met.
- Assist with recruiting and staffing to ensure stores are staffed to meet customer service requirements and diversity standards
- Use applicant tracking system to be able to manage the workflow of the interview process
- Work closely with management on all diversity initiatives involving recruitment to ensure fairness in hiring practices
- Use various methods to recruit and network with potential candidates including social media platforms, networking events and job fairs
- Identify, source, and engage candidates through creative and innovative sourcing approaches
- Provide market research to support candidate and geographic profiling to guide recruiting in various locations
- As directed by DHRM, they will review, pre-screen and interview candidates to determine the appropriateness of skills, experience, and knowledge in relation to position requirements
- Serve as a partner to field hiring managers and assist with communication and follow-up with candidates throughout the full recruiting cycle. Work to understand the skills and experience required for new roles and define the hiring process with hiring managers
- Consult with hiring managers to make data-based decisions on processes and approaches to develop an effective recruiting strategy, identify potential roadblocks and manage hiring manager expectations
- Ensure consistent communication regarding recruiting efforts by providing status updates to all stakeholders through meetings, email updates, and reports
- Ensure proper onboarding for new hires and the necessary paperwork is completed promptly and accurately
- Monitor the effectiveness of all recruiting efforts, with specific attention paid to the continued flow of candidates through the recruiting pipeline
- Act as an informal mentor for less experienced recruiters within the team
- Proactively share knowledge with peers to learn and share best practices and gain a better understanding of role and function
- Participate in or contribute to active projects and conduct ISW classes as needed
- Lead the outreach efforts in the division and track results
