Job Description:

The Talent Acquisition Manager will serve on the leadership team for Pentair's Recruiting Center of Excellence. In this role you will lead functional recruiting excellence, which delivers high quality talent for exempt Professional and Manager recruiting needs in the United States. In addition to daily recruiting management duties, you will play a significant role in guiding the diversity recruiting programs for the organization, alongside the peer recruiting leaders to this role.

You Will

Partner with the hiring teams to drive recruiting excellence

  • Partner with business and functional leadership teams to align on talent vision and deliver actionable strategies which help the business reach their hiring goals
  • Engage directly with HR leadership and Hiring Leadership teams to advise on search strategies for hard to fill or critical roles
  • Participate in quarterly business updates to provide insights into successes or challenges and align on go-forward strategies to drive progress

Support and guide a team of professional level recruiters to success

  • Manage and develop a team of high performing recruiters, including supporting a consultative mindset and strong sourcing capabilities
  • Actively analyze issues leveraging data and client relationships to improve, change, or adapt existing techniques, methods, processes, and/or systems to ensure roles are filled within standard timelines with a positive candidate and customer experience
  • Enable best practices and process improvements through benchmarking and subject matter expertise
  • Partner with recruiters in client meetings, when requisitions are past due to provide leadership guidance, expertise and engagement

Engage in Diversity Recruiting & Programming

  • Serve as a member of the Diversity Recruiting Committee, to design and deliver diversity recruiting capabilities to the organization
  • Partner with Recruiting COE Leadership Team to drive alignment and best practices between recruiting groups
  • Engage with Business Resources Groups to facilitate Talent Ambassador programming, training and capabilities
  • Audit existing recruiting processes and practices, within areas of accountability, to uncover and deliver recommendations to mitigate bias
  • Monitor recruiting processes and practices to deliver an inclusive candidate experience and support ongoing improvements opportunities

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s (BS/BA) Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition including recruiting for technical and hard to fill exempt level requisitions
  • Prior experience developing and activating strategies which improve diversity recruiting outcomes and candidate experiences
  • Prior leadership success, including leadership of recruiters
  • Analytical mindset, with a desire to leverage data to develop insights and guiding decision making and performance management
  • Ability to leverage broad data sets to develop insights and identify connections and deliver root cause insights to recruiting challenges
