Full Time Minnesota Recruiter Job
As a Recruiting Manager, you will develop, drive, and execute on the staffing strategies for the IQS and RMS Business teams within Zeiss. This is a unique opportunity to lead and develop a team of outstanding recruiters while partnering closely with innovative business leaders within two of Zeiss’s growing businesses. For both business groups, you will drive recruiting capability and delivery, ensure well represented candidate pools, report on req activity, metrics, and trends, influence through that data, and resolve problems that may impede hiring targets. You will know how to manage, mentor, and guide a team of recruiters and/or sourcers through the entire recruiting life cycle while also working closely with our leaders to drive world class recruiting practices and strategy. In this role you are a innovative professional who is progressive with strong management skills, you are a connector, agile an empathetic leader. You are a subject matter expert in all aspects of talent attraction, which includes but is not limited to recruitment, data analytics, market trends, social media sourcing, D&I and recruiting tools & systems.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Build engage, manage and develop a team of high-performing recruiting staff in an extremely fast-paced and ambiguous environment.
Set team performance goals and metrics, timelines and a formal tracking process to measure and manage progress.
Develop and execute plans to identify and drive productivity improvements that enable the team to deliver to hiring goals.
Periodically lead and/or participate in cross-business/cross-company special projects and initiatives related to talent attraction.
Lead by example through following, setting or sharing recruiting best practices
Ensuring recruiters and/or sourcers are managing to milestones and metrics
Providing innovative, scalable solutions to drive our hiring to meet Zeiss business objectives
Creating innovative sourcing strategies and ensuring a high-touch candidate experience
Support and manage all aspects of team's searches including resourcing, forecasting, reporting and managing competing expectations
Compile, analyze and capture insights from data to support business decisions
Define, design and implement recruiting programs for a variety of recruiting positions including understanding and mapping the talent landscape, internal calibration and referrals, and matching those data points with the external talent supply
Drives diversity recruiting strategy and impacts results in support of broader teams
Resposible for team, goals, delivery and people planning to meet both short term and long term goals
Work closely with business leaders to influence and deliver quality assessment and high touch candidate experience through all aspects of the recruitment funnel.
Partner with key stakeholders (Business Leaders, Hiring Managers, HR Business Partners) to determine future talent needs and set and drive enabling sourcing strategies; this requires a deep understanding through extensive market research of the channels where we can find the best, diverse talent who fit our technical and cultural demands.
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required.
8+ years of recruiting experience in a high tech corporate environemnt
4+ years of experience leading, building, and coaching a recruiting team of at least 4 recruiters, in a high-tech corporate environment.
Workday Recruiter experience strongly desired
Experience communicating and working with cross-functional teams.
Experience partnering with senior leaders to deliver results.
Experience working with recruiting tools and systems, including Workday, internet sourcing tools, and spreadsheets.
The ideal candidate should have demonstrated technical recruiting skills preferably with a large System Integration company with a global presence.
The position is part of a large team that works in fast-paced environment needing the individual to be able to multi-task and be a self-starter.
Great communication skills is a 'must' and the candidate should be able to interact with internal Hiring Managers and be able to win their trust in a short period of time
This position does not require regular travel but being a recruiters' job there might be need to take calls after work hours at times depending on candidate availability
A proven track record of influencing senior leaders on recruiting strategies.
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, as a team leader and member.
Skilled at partnering with hiring teams to build effective sourcing, assessment, and closing approaches with an ability to manage customer/partner expectations through a deep understanding of ROI.
Experience utilizing metrics and data to drive decision-making.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience utilizing data and analytical skills to create, measure, and scale workflows to achieve accelerated hiring goals.
