The HR Recruiter is responsible for full cycle recruitment, including consulting with hiring managers, performing resume review and assessment, and scheduling and participating in candidate interviews. Additionally, this role will be responsible for sourcing strategies, partnering with high schools, tech schools, university groups, and staffing agencies to establish relationships and candidate pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Develop, facilitate, and implement all phases of the recruitment process
- Identify and implement efficient, effective, and diverse recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization
- Manage job postings and advertisement methods, use multiple tools including applicant tracking system (iCIMS) and social media platforms
- Be the applicant tracking system expert, lead new roll-outs or system enhancements
- Source candidates, screen resumes and select qualified candidates for the next step in the recruitment process
- Conduct phone interviews of candidates and submit qualified candidates to hiring managers
- Schedule interviews and assist hiring managers on the interview process
- Utilize the applicant tracking system (iCIMS) to extend offers of employment, candidate acceptance or counteroffers, and initiate clearances
- Develop relationships with high school and technical school instructors and counselors, coordinate and participate in career days, career fairs, on-site company tours and classroom visits
- Coordinate and implement the internship program, partnering with our operating companies HR team members
- Monitor data benchmarks, run reports, analyze data, and make recommendations for improvements in the recruitment process
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies
- Prepare reports documenting recruitment activities and effectiveness, including standard work
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent work experience
- 3 years of experience in recruitment of both exempt and non-exempt positions
- Experience developing and implementing a sourcing strategy, including branding and advertising experience, along with utilizing social media platforms
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships with schools (high schools, technical colleges, and universities)
- Experience monitoring recruiting metrics with the ability to take actions as necessary for improvement
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations and the impact to recruitment related efforts
- Working knowledge of applicant tracking systems, preferably iCIMS
- Ability to partner in order to develop strong working relationships internally and externally
- Strong communication, influence, persuasion, and negotiation skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Strong service orientation with business-driven mindset, sense of urgency and continual drive for process improvement
- Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
