We are looking for a new corporate recruiter to help build our teams of commercial furniture and facilities services professionals in multiple national markets. Handling all stages of the recruitment process and effectively communicating through direct relationships with business unit leaders are must-haves for this fast-paced position that includes writing & posting job ads, conducting phone screens, and scheduling in-person interviews.

Pay: Negotiable, based on experience
Hours: 8am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday

Primary Responsibilities of Corporate Recruiter:

  • Develop and maintain enterprise-wide recruiting processes to meet hiring needs in multiple national markets utilizing online job boards, schools, and market-specific resources
  • Create, post, and maintain consistent job descriptions and advertisements for open positions
  • Utilize internal applicant tracking system to review applications and maintain candidate progress
  • Foster relationships with candidates each step of the way, providing a positive experience for all candidates in the recruitment process
  • Conduct phone screenings and schedule qualified candidates for interviews with regional business leaders
  • Promote the company’s strong family-oriented culture to prospective employees
  • Proactively source candidates and research market trends
  • Collaborate with the Operations and Human Resources team to provide candidates with an excellent first impression that encourages relationship building and provide cost effective service solutions to meet company demands
  • Track and report on recruiting metrics
  • Maintain compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations
  • Other duties as assigned


Skills and Abilities of Corporate Recruiter:

  • Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks under pressure situations
  • Demonstrates continuing responsibility for agreed-upon objectives; demonstrates a sense of personal accountability for achieving results; persists when faced with adverse/difficult situations
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbally
  • Ability to analyze both factual information and the non-quantifiable aspects of a situation and to arrive at a conclusion which maximizes the short- and long-range interest of the company


Key Requirements:

  • Must have at least 2 years of customer service/sales experience
  • Previous recruiting experience highly preferred
  • Experience recruiting in multiple national markets highly preferred
  • Experience recruiting light industrial workforce highly preferred
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and by written means with all levels of management, co-workers, and candidates
  • Must be comfortable communicating face-to-face, via the phone or e-mail
  • Strong listening skills are a critical element of communication
  • Ability to lead and take directions in a team environment
  • Must have excellent problem solving and organizational skills
  • Must have the ability to recognize and define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions quickly and effectively
  • Must be able to foresee and minimize problems before they occur, and the ability to be proactive in addressing potential issues once they have been identified
  • Ability to effectively juggle several tasks simultaneously and prioritize them for efficient and effective completion


Qualifications – Education & Experience:

  • HS Degree
  • 1-2 Years of previous experience in the recruiting industry preferred
