Job Description

What is the opportunity?

This individual is a member of the Global Talent Cycle team, supporting employees and business partners of all US based RBC companies. This individual is responsible for day to day activities of the Team by ensuring employee data and lifecycle actions are completed correctly. Ensures the accurate entry and validation of all employee data into the HRIS system from new hire through termination.  Leads training efforts for the US Talent Cycle Team ensuring segregation of duties and redundancy of tasks. Sets work direction, scheduling, staff meeting agendas and assigned projects. Monitors, compiles and reports on employee performance.

What will you do?

  • Ensure the accuracy of employee data changes entered into Workday & SAP and that the entry meets the service level agreements. Perform second level reviews as needed.

  • Ensure the validation of background checks on new hires and newly registered employees

  • Set day-to-day work direction to the US Talent Cycle team.

  • Stay current on company policies, procedures and organizational changes and update team as needed.

  • Meet or exceed customer service expectations for HR Business Partners and all RBC employees.

  • Coach and share best practices with team in an effort to improve performance and improve job satisfaction.

  • Work with team to identify workflow issues and identify process improvement opportunities.

  • Commitment to protection of privacy for all employee data.

  • Keep US Global Talent Cycle informed on identified issues relating to service delivery, performance issues and identified trends.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Undergraduate degree in HR, or other related field, or equivalent experience

  • 3+ years customer service experience (preferable in Call Center and/or Human Resources)

  • Ability to lead team of 4+ employees

  • Excellent verbal communication skills with strong customer service orientation

  • Exceptional organizational skills, problem solving skills and attention to detail and accuracy

  • Extensive knowledge of organization payroll processes

Nice-to-have

  • Experience using WorkDay and SAP
