Smiths Medical is hiring a Senior Talent Acquisition Coordinator on a contract basis at our corporate HQ in Plymouth, MN. 

The Senior Talent Acquisition Coordinator is responsible for excellent service throughout the talent acquisition process and is a brand ambassador for Smiths Medical. This person will be the go to person for pre and post hire process steps, including interview scheduling, preparing and sending offer letter, and managing the drug test and background check process. This role will regularly interact with the Talent Acquisition team, the Human Resources team, and work directly with hiring managers across the organization.

  • Build, develop and manage best in class recruitment processes which will include but not limited to candidate interview schedules, interview candidate summaries, travel, offer to on boarding, job postings.
  • Build and publish monthly/annual and ad hoc reports, including but not limited to details with Recruiting metrics, agency placements, diversity and balanced slates.
  • Involved in social media campaign to be a brand ambassador of Smiths Medical.

  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
  • This position is required to assure compliance of Company operations to all applicable laws, regulations and standards, good business practices and company documented procedures (including knowledge of all standards, government occupational health and environmental regulations and statutes related to the site).
  • Engage others, promote, and participate in Environmental, Health, and Safety initiatives, focusing on continuous improvement.

  • Secondary Education (High School) required.
  • Preferred University Degree or Associate degree, or technical equivalent in years of experience.
  • 5+ years of experience focusing on similar objectives.
  • Experience with an applicant tracking system, background and drug screen processes, reference compliance, calendaring, video interviews, recruitment invoices, and reporting (Excel).
  • Knowledge and experience working with EEOC requirements.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, travel booking sites, external job/career sites.
  • Strong communication skills both verbally and written.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Education requirements can be obtained through an educational institution or gained through equivalent work experience.
