Job Description
Faegre Drinker has an opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Manager to work with our Talent Acquisition team in our Minneapolis office. You will be dedicated to leading the talent acquisition team to attract and hire talent across the paraprofessional, administrative and operations professional groups. In this role, you will utilize your leadership skills to lead, coach and develop a team that is aligned with a TA strategy focused on excellent candidate and internal experiences, efficient processes, employer brand management, and a consultative recruitment process. This position will work with other talented individuals who share a passion for doing great work in the best interest of our clients.
What you would do in this job:
•Serve as a key leader on the talent acquisition team by providing insights and recommendations on recruitment and selection strategies and best practices
•Work with the Talent Acquisition Specialists to incorporate effective tools into the hiring process (e.g. interview best practices, interview guides and coordination, scorecards, etc.) and support the team in the day-to-day work
•Enable a team of recruiters to be true talent advisors by managing, coaching, and developing their performance
•Foster trusted relationships with hiring managers, human resource managers, colleagues and others to become a talent partner and resource
•Oversee and enhance the employee referral program
•Complete mid-year and end- of- year metrics and develop easy to understand results and meaningful outcomes
•Oversee budget management throughout the year to ensure expenses are within budget or require adjustment
•Regularly review and address external comments on social media (e.g., Glassdoor, Indeed) and engage hiring managers to leverage their social media networks to maximize job posting exposure.
•Oversee third party vendor management, including management of the staffing agency preferred list, technical assessments, background check vendor and other recruitment tools
•Ensure recruiting technology is leveraged to support business needs, efficiently, and provides a positive user experience for internal clients and candidates and is compliant with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
•Review and adjust processes and best practices, as necessary, to effectively attract and engage talent to the firm
•Special projects and other duties as assigned

Requirements
•Bachelor’s degree
•Minimum five years of talent acquisition experience
•Minimum two years of leading and managing teams
•Knowledge of federal, state and local employment laws related to recruiting
•Human Resources certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP), preferred
Travel Requirements:
•This role does have an expectation of travel to any of the firm’s locations across the United States and may require travel of up to 5% of the time
