Berger Transfer & Storage, Inc is seeking a RECRUITER to join our team in Roseville, Minnesota! Our Recruiter facilitates talent acquisition across the company with emphasis on supporting the branches by leading the recruiting & hiring efforts, working with Branches to prioritize needs and identify quality candidates to present to hiring managers, for current and future openings.
Responsibilities for our Recruiter include but are not limited to:
- Collaborate with Branch and Network managers to clearly identify job positions, pay range as well as skills and experience requirements;
- Manage the talent acquisition process for branch level positions across the Company, including developing recruitment strategies, coordinating job fairs, sourcing and job advertisements/postings;
- Uses and maximizes all avenues for sourcing candidates: proactive direct recruiting (cold calling), internal sources, referrals, diversity resources, social networking sourcing sites;
- Develops candidate pipelines for current and future open positions through prospecting with both active and passive job seekers. Identifies and deploys creative methodologies for sourcing quality candidates;
- Assist in creating written job offers, ensuring consistency and accuracy;
- May conduct market research related to wage rates as needed;
- Prepares recruiting metrics, updates and other reporting as required by management;
- Compliance with all recruiting related laws. Uses processes and techniques to ensure compliance with Affirmative Action Plan and other legal requirements;
- Coordinates and act as backup for New Hire Orientation process with other HR team members;
- Helps support HR initiatives as needed;
- Other duties as assigned
The successful candidate for this position will share the following knowledge, skills and abilities:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Human Resources or related field experience preferred;
- Professional HR/Recruiting experience with prior interviewing experience (required);
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Work effectively with wide range of internal & external individuals, in person and over the phone;
- Demonstrated use of effective sourcing, interviewing and project management experience;
- Knowledge of contemporary recruiting technologies;
- Willing to travel occasionally
