Day to day, the Talent Sourcing Specialist will team with hiring managers and HR leaders from across the organization (including engineering, finance, manufacturing, supply chain, design, IT, eCommerce, etc.) to develop and execute on sourcing strategies that will be delivered efficiently, effectively and in a cooperative manner. Building relationships with business partners and passive candidates will be key to the success of this enjoyable role.
Responsibilities
- Work with hiring managers and HR leaders to understand hiring priorities and to design successful strategies and tactics for hiring and retaining top talent
- Reaching out to prospects and encourage them to discover our brands and apply to opportunities
- Work with professional organizations both inside and outside our industry to create relationships and build talent pools for future growth
- Be a vocal advocate for our employment brands and #BringingtheWorldOutside
- Develop targeted sourcing and employment branding campaigns and collaborate with business marketing teams to share via corporate social media channels. Conduct competitive market research to identify best practices and to improve Vista Outdoor campaigns
- Analyze social media and web metrics and related data to assess ROI of efforts and recommend improvements to strategic and tactical plans
- Maintain relevant sourcing & social media platforms, including content and other media relevant to job seekers and recruiting partners worldwide
Minimum Qualifications
· 3-5 years of professional work experience as a corporate, agency or search recruiter
· Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
· Superior sourcing skills, including understanding of Boolean searching
· Experience in working with passive candidates and engaging them for current and future openings. Tenacious ability to conduct research via internet, social media tools, enterprise applicant tracking system, phone calls and email contact
· Demonstrated experience working with professional organizations to create relationships and talent pipelines
· Demonstrated experience managing social channels, including but not limited to LinkedIn, Indeed and Glassdoor
· Excellent communication skills; Strong interpersonal, problem solving, organizational, and time management skills; Solid business acumen & analytical skills to interpret data and measure results
