What we need:

We have an opportunity for a Talent Acquisiton Specialist to join our Human Resources team. This position is responsible for proactively sourcing top talent, maintaining a strategic recruiting pipeline and expanding our outreach initiatives within the advertising community and universities.

What you’ll do:

  • Drive recruiting initiatives such as posting positions, sourcing, phone screening, and moving candidates along the recruiting process via a variety of tools, iCMS ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter and additional outside resources
  • Identify and engage with talent through social media, jobs boards, referrals, and networking
  • Strategically produce candidates through all means necessary. In particular, this individual must be comfortable with all aspects of recruiting with strong communication skills both verbally and written, in order to properly engage candidates.
  • Be a culture ambassador creating a positive inclusive experience at all touch points in the recruiting process
  • Grow relationships with universities, HBCUs, industry groups, professional networks, and more to proactively build pipeline of diverse talent related to key business and future hiring needs
  • Maintains data in iCIMS (ATS system) on a real time, daily basis
  • Work closely with a collaborative HR team and assist with special projects, as assigned

What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or related experience
  • 3+ years of experience in hiring/recruiting with heavy emphasis on search
  • Knowledge of recruitment practices, relevant job markets and research processes
  • Knowledge and experience of the Advertising and Marketing industries
  • Experience with various sourcing techniques (i.e. internet search, cold calling)
  • A problem solver who can adapt to various situations and personalities
  • Strong project and process management skills
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (such as iICIMS), job boards, preferred but not required
  • Advanced computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with teammates, yet also independently with autonomy and good judgment, and handle highly confidential information with maturity and discretion
