Position Summary:
Bio-Techne is hiring an entry-level Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our growing Talent Acquisition team in our Minneapolis headquarters! Our ideal candidate is enthusiastic, innovative, high-energy, self-motivated, and eager to jump right in within our fast-paced environment! In this position, you will assist Hiring Managers with interviewing and reviewing resumes, in addition to managing administrative tasks such as scheduling interviews, writing offer letters, and posting job advertisements.
This is an entry-level position that would be a great opportunity for someone eager to start a career in recruitment with a quickly growing company!
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct intake sessions with Hiring Managers, review resumes for minimum qualifications, conduct phone interviews, and participate in face-to-face interviews with the hiring team
- Utilize external job boards such as LinkedIn and Indeed as necessary to increase application numbers
- Effectively negotiates and extends hiring offers
- Work within ATS system guidelines and manage applicant and candidate activity
- Plan, coordinate, and attend career fairs and events
- Assist with the creation and implementation of strategies to identify, attract, and hire top quality talent
- Work closely with HR Operations Team and HR representation on posting job requisitions and obtaining appropriate approvals
- Manage administrative tasks such as posting job advertisements, writing offer letters, and scheduling interviews
- Performs additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree with 0-3 years of relevant experience
- Or, High School Degree or GED equivalent with 3+ years of relevant experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proven relationship building skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work with various business units and departments
- Gather and analyze information skillfully
- Demonstrate resourcefulness and initiative in dealing with obstacles
- Skills in problem solving; including the ability to identify and appropriately evaluate a course of action
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Ability to plan, organize and multi-task to complete assignments in an efficient manner
- Ability to communicate professionally, both oral and written
- Ability to pay attention to details and perform at a high-level accuracy
