The Human Resources Talent Acquisition Manager performs a variety of Human Resources functions with a focus on recruitment. Requires knowledge of employment law and processes. Responsible for recruitment and on-boarding process.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the recruitment process for PrairieCare
- Work with HR team to build relationships with supervisors and gain an understanding of staffing needs and producing forecasts
- Develop talent acquisition strategies
- Conduct regular follow-up meetings with supervisors to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation
- Manage the requisition request, approval, and posting process
- Research and develop different sourcing strategies for active and passive candidate recruiting especially when applicant numbers are limited
- Strategically source potential hires from diverse backgrounds
- Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need
- Lead employment branding initiatives in partnership with Marketing Department
- Network through industry contacts, association membership, trade groups, social media, school/universities, and employees to increase applicants and PrairieCare's presence in the market
- Assist with the research and development of new recruitment processes while enhancing existing ones to ensure a positive candidate experience
- Assist in employee retention and development
- Supervise talent acquisition personnel
- Use metrics to create reports and identify areas of improvement
- Take on special projects as requested by the HR Director
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or equivalent work experience required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with full-cycle recruitment, sourcing and branding
- Healthcare experience preferred
- Understanding of all selection methods and techniques
- Proficient in the use of social media, job boards and other sourcing strategies
- Working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and databases
- PHR certification preferred
- Knowledge of federal and state employment regulations
- Knowledge of employment law and its relation to the recruiting process
- Ability towork independently as well as cooperatively with a team
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and execute multiple activities at a time
- Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word and Excel
