Job Purpose

Recruit, interview, and hire employees through cost-effective and timely sourcing methods that exceed customer expectations. Assigned openings/requisitions may be located throughout North American (Canada, Mexico, and US), but will primarily be located in Minnesota. This position will mainly support recruiting for manufacturing and non-exempt office full-time and intern positions.

Essential Duties

  • Source candidates and conduct screening interviews. Evaluate candidates to ensure we are identifying top talent. Coordinate the interview process with hiring managers, conduct reference checks. Partner with HR Manager and hiring manager on job offers.

  • Work with HR Managers, Compensation, and hiring managers to coordinate and present approved job offers to candidates. Provide appropriate follow-up for timely on-boarding of the new hire including coordination of the drug screen and background check.

  • Manage internal posting process (determine “senior qualified” and present rank-ordered list to factory job-posting team for review) and support the contractor conversion process

  • Must provide excellent, proactive communication to all parties involved including a candidate, hiring manager, and others as necessary.

  • Support the College Recruiting program and maintain relationships specifically with Technical Colleges.  Coordinate and attend campus events and track and promote candidates as appropriate.

  • Utilize cost-effective sourcing tools and strategies. Build and maintain a candidate pipeline, using such tools and partnerships as social media, networking, educational institutions, community resources, professional associations, and external staffing agencies.

  • Research and recommend ways to continue to move the Graco Employment Brand forward in the market place.

  • Utilize, update, and maintain the applicant tracking system with resumes and notes, interview schedules, and hiring data.

  • Prepare reports and provide information regarding recruitment activities.

  • Participates in projects relating to talent acquisition as assigned 

Position Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, HR, or other related fields, or equivalent degree.

  • PHR/SPHR Certification or other Human Resources continuing education (preferred)

Experience

  • Experience (1-3 years) in sourcing and recruiting in a high volume, fast-paced environment preferably in manufacturing.

  • Experience with Workday ATS preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Competencies

  • College recruiting strategies preferred.

  • Understanding of sourcing tools including social media or other niche advertising strategies.
