Working within Talent Acquisition, your mission will be to attract new talent and launch people in roles that let them shine. Our recruiters accompany candidates along the new team member journey, from the very first engagement to day one on the job, and beyond. As a member of the Talent Acquisition team, you’ll act as a brand ambassador in the employer marketplace, telling the story of Target as a top choice in a sea of other places to work, and showing candidates what it’s really like to work somewhere they already love.
Your role will be to ensure that all candidates have a positive experience with Target, whether they are hired or not. Your job will include scheduling interviews, administering assessments, interacting with candidates and clients, managing data in our recruiting system, and coordinating offer/new hire paperwork. You will serve as one of the primary contacts for candidates & clients regarding open positions and interviews. We’ll support you along the way with robust onboarding, as well as personal and career development, to help you grow as a strong Senior Staffing Specialist. The exciting part of retail? • High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong prioritizing, organization, problem solving, decision making and follow-up skills
• Ability to multi-task while maintaining a strong attention to detail
• Strong guest service orientation and interpersonal skills to interface with all levels of the organization, internal, and external candidates
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
