What will you do?

  • Design, deliver, and continuously improve our talent programs to meet the needs of our business and varied workforce segments
  • Empower our employees and leaders to build engaged teams and an inclusive culture
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in designing and executing our skills strategy
  • Build our career enablement and talent mobility strategies and processes to enable us to understand our employees’ skills and career aspirations and move them into new experiences within Best Buy, creating an unparalleled runway for our employees and our company

Key Skills:
  • Collaboration, forming strong partnerships and alignment between many functions of the business and talent
  • Design thinking, using this method to develop, evaluate and improve talent strategies and programs
  • Data fluency, ability to explain data and recommend actionable insights in order to drive better talent outcomes
  • Time management, ability to work simultaneously on multiple projects and competing priorities
  • Writing substantive thought leadership content, leveraging industry leading best practices and insights
  • Storytelling, using PowerPoint and narrative techniques through technology
  • Comfort operating within and leading through frequent change and ambiguity
  • Growth mindset with the desire to learn and grow
Basic Qualifications:
  • 3 or more years of experience in a talent management, HRBP, organizational effectiveness, learning environment or equivalent experience
  • 3 or more years of experience developing talent strategies, processes, and tools or equivalent experience
Preferred qualifications:
  • 5 or more years of experience designing and delivering talent strategies and processes
  • 3 or more years of leadership experience
  • Proficient to advanced PPT skills or equivalent technologies (e.g., inserting graphs, diagrams, videos, pictures, formatting)
  • Experience with Workday HCM system or equivalent technologies
