Overall Description
Key member in creating and maintaining initiatives that shape employee culture and engagement, optimizing talent processes, and mobilizing and accelerating change initiatives. This position will focus on Production Manufacturing and Distribution facilities globally and collaboration with both location HR and field leadership are crucial points of alignment. Programs, systems and tools will be applicable organization-wide.
Duties and Responsibilities
Enhance production talent processes such as: onboarding, performance management, corrective action, learning and development, and talent planning
Assist in the global deployment of employee engagement and lifecycle survey processes and partner with locations to guide actions towards increasing performance and engagement
In partnership with Learning, evolve learning programming and offered content for Manufacturing/Distribution
In partnership with location HR, assist with succession and talent planning
In partnership with location HR Managers, consult with location leadership to address performance and engagement needs; providing solutions including change management strategies, team effectiveness interventions, performance and learning.
Leverage Workday and HR Operations team to evolve talent analytics to help drive good people decisions
Utilize a global and inclusive mindset to shape people practices that increase diversity, equity and inclusion in the organization
Network extensively with external peers, consultants and industry experts to stay current, benchmark, and determine best appropriate resources for the enterprise
Manage the relationships and work of outside consultants when used
Assist with and complete other talent projects and duties as assigned
Job Dimensions and Specifications
Bachelors degree in related field required
5-7 yrs of experience in a Talent, Learning, OD, or HR function required
Preferred Masters degree in related field such as OD, HRD, Human Resources
Preferred experience in a Manufacturing, multi-site organization
Collaborative team player with ability to work across levels, where flexibility, adaptability, and resiliency are important
Ability to effectively assess stakeholder needs while consulting, building solutions, and developing processes
Experience developing learning using effective adult learning and instructional design principles
High level of intellectual, professional, and interpersonal ability
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
Solid project management skills
Preference for using data-driven decisions using talent analytics
Experience with top tier HCM and talent management technology (Workday, SuccessFactors),in the areas of: performance management, learning management, talent planning, e-learning authoring tools
Experience with virtual working and delivery platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Zoom)
Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Sharepoint) skills
Preferred experience with recognized assessment and development tools and their use
