As an integral part of the Talent Acquisition (TA) team, this role will establish and implement Diversity, Equity and Inclusion programs, KPIs, processes and sourcing strategies to support and enhance recruiting efforts across Pearson to develop a pipeline of diverse talent. The TA DE&I Program Manager will report to the VP, Talent Acquisition and partner with key internal stakeholders and external partners to understand current DE&I issues and create progressive solutions. This role will analyze our recruitment processes and technology to ensure the ability to attract and hire qualified, diverse talent into the organization.
Essential Responsibilities:
Serve as DE&I TA resource for the TA team and business groups
Directly interface and proactively collaborate with all relative DE&I task forces/initiatives HRBP’s and other key internal partners
Partner with DE&I team, Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and DE&I Advocates to establish practices to promote the Pearson brand, enhance diversity recruitment across the organization and ultimately embed a DE&I mindset throughout the TA processes
Collaborate with Compliance team to lead efforts to improve adherence to Affirmative Action Plans (US-specific) and all associated reporting
Establish KPIs and leverage data analytics to track and measure diversity recruitment efforts and progress
Ensure that KPIs are regularly achieved
Review and analyze TA technologies to ensure capability of attracting diverse talent without bias
Design and implement active and passive sourcing strategies to ensure diverse candidate slates
Serve as the diverse talent sourcing expert, specific to passive recruiting and expanding the talent pipeline
Select and develop partnerships and outreach with external associations, vendors, etc to promote Pearson and attract diverse talent to build pipelines
Assess processes and analyze patterns to identify and eliminate any potential unconscious bias
Develop and analyze metrics at each step of the TA process, including interviews, to ensure any biases or barriers are identified and managed
Qualifications
7-10 years related experience as a TA professional with significant autonomy and scope of responsibility
Significant experience in developing and scaling recruitment sourcing strategies, preferably around DE&I
Experience in managing DE&I initiatives, ideally on a company-wide scale
Experience in negotiating and managing comprehensive contracts and vendor relationships
Experience in leveraging data analytics to solve program-wide business problems
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills and the ability to lead group discussions
Global experience, including regular solutioning with international colleagues and external partners, strongly preferred
Experience leading programs in a matrix environment
The anticipated starting salary range for Colorado-based individuals expressing interest in this position is $100K – $115K. This position is eligible to participate in an annual incentive program.
