As the Andersen Windows & Doors corporate manager of talent acquisition, you are an experienced leader who will bring innovative thinking, the ability to influence change, and disrupt the way we are sourcing top talent to create the optimal candidate experience while creating a worry-free atmosphere for hiring managers. You have proven leadership experience and can drive the organization’s talent acquisition and diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives, vision, and strategy.
Your priorities in this position will be:
Lead and drive the development, implementation, and management of all aspects of the Enterprise Talent Acquisition function, including strategies, programs, policies, systems, and tools. Lead the Talent Acquisition team, consisting of direct and matrixed reports, ensuring alignment of decentralized functions with the Andersen employment brand guidelines.
Establish Enterprise talent acquisition strategies to ensure the delivery of top-quality talent needed to meet current and future business needs. Provide content expertise for all company-wide staffing efforts, including processes, systems, and tools.
Ensure all selection processes are developed, audited, and implemented, including recruiting sources, applicant tracking, pre-mployment physical and background verifications, assessment activities, relocation administration, new hire orientation and post placement follow up.
Implement annual talent acquisition plan, identifying projects and process improvements to enable Talent Acquisition to contribute to the achievement of short- and long-term business results.
Assign project and process improvement goals to staff members or teams.
Through direct and matrixed staff members, develop, implement, and continuously improve the Enterprise campus recruiting strategy, programs, and processes to meet new graduate hiring requirements and future talent needs of the organization. Ensure strong relationships are developed and maintained with campuses, hiring managers and mentors for interns and new graduates.
Responsible for the development and execution of strategies and tools to continually improve Andersen’s visibility as an employer of choice. Ensure all internal and external talent attraction platforms, including the Enterprise career site, social media and outreach programs comply with the Enterprise employment brand and appeal to a wide range of applicants.
Define, track, and analyze talent acquisition metrics, including trends in applicant flow, diversity, placement rates, turnover/retention rates, acquisition costs, etc. to monitor and improve performance. And identify continuous improvement opportunities.
Develop and manage a third-party vendor strategy. Establish third party contracts to supply services necessary to source and recruit critical talent that are cost effective, meet business needs, and use a managed number of providers. Partner with internal procurement to ensure contracts are negotiated with the best possible outcome for the Enterprise and/or individual business areas within the Enterprise.
Provide leadership, performance management, development, training and coaching to both direct and matrixed reporting talent acquisition specialists, contractors (as needed) and administrative support. Provide advice to enterprise staffing leaders on recruitment strategies, hiring/selection employment law issues, and staffing processes.
Advise decentralized enterprise talent acquisition specialists and generalists in aligning practices with the Andersen employment brand guidelines and intent.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field and 8 or more years of talent acquisition experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Master's degree preferred
PHR/SHRM-SCP certification preferred
Minimum of five years managerial experience desired, including staff selection, performance monitoring and measurement, coaching and feedback, and delivery of rewards and recognition
Working knowledge of HR with emphasis on state-of-the-art talent acquisition processes, internal HR policies, employment law and selection methodologies or equivalent demonstrated skills and abilities
Strong skills in emerging technology and processes and their application to attracting key talent
Demonstrated strategic thinking, leadership and influencing skills
Very strong verbal and written communication skills
Collaborative approach to building relationships, and experience working in a matrixed organization requiring superior influencing and negotiation skills
Demonstrated problem solving skills to ensure appropriate solutions address critical staffing needs
Demonstrated, proven experience leading teams and the ability to influencing others
