How Is This Role Important to Our Work?

This is a great opportunity to gain valuable HR experience and you will work on various enterprise talent initiatives. You will report to the Senior Director of Talent Strategy and work on projects that impact associate and leadership development, talent management, and diversity and inclusion initiatives. Collaboration, influencing, and execution skills are critical in this role. You will work closely with the Talent Strategy team and the Culture and Change team to implement programs to accelerate out high-performing culture and ensure, robust, diverse, and agile talent pipelines.

A Day in the Life:

  • Provide project support to leadership programs, performance management, diversity and inclusion initiatives that drive talent retention, performance and development.

  • Support the creation and deployment of leadership and associate development programming, processes and metrics. Identifying new and creative ways to drive development (i.e. podcasts, TikTok, other avenues, etc.)

  • Evaluate new hire and new manager onboarding processes and recommend improvements to ensure a successful start at Stella.

  • Support initiatives to integrate diversity, equity and inclusion best practices throughout all programs, processes, systems and programs.

  • Analyze data to help us identify strengths, opportunities, and gaps in our offering. Partner with internal communication to highlight the teams work and progress.

  • Remains abreast of current best practices. Ensure our solutions reflect strategic alignment of business priorities, leading-edge thinking, and proven effective practices in the industry.

Nice to Have:

  • Previous career development and performance.

  • Experience in other human resource roles (HRBP, talent analytics, HR operations, etc. )management experience and knowledge.

  • Continuous learner to keep up with emerging trends and integrate latest evidence and insights in the industry.

  • Experience and interest in DEI.

  • Ability to maintain professional discretion and confidentiality.

  • Execution of complex initiatives, processes and programs.

  • Excellent communications and influencing skills.

  • Excellent collaboration and project management skills.

  • Analytical thinking, skilled at deriving insights from data and conceptualizing strategies to address business-critical issues.

  • Ability to effectively work under pressure, handle highly sensitive issues and manage competing priorities.

Required Skills and Experiences:

  • College student or recent college graduate.
