Job Description

The People Partner will play 2 primary roles for Leapgen.  Both areas of responsibility will require quickly becoming an expert on Leapgen’s culture, which informs what we look for in people on our team. He or she will be an IMPORTANT AND VISIBLE PART OF OUR BRAND.

First, this person (Leaper) will act as a TALENT SCOUT:

  • Looking for new people to become part of Leapgen’s talent pool, comprising people who are interested in both contractor roles and employment.

  • Cultivating these relationships and align hires with the FAST-CHANGING needs of Leapgen Leadership (e.g., CEO, CSO, CRO, VP of Marketing, VP of Operations) and hiring managers, as well our customers.

  • Constantly assessing needs, helping write job descriptions, sourcing and screening talent and coordinating the offer process.

In other words, acting as Leapgen’s talent ambassador managing a pipeline and taking the lead on all candidate-related communications.

Second, the person will act as Leapgen’s CHIEF WELLBEING PARTNER, responsible for partnering with company leadership to develop and implement a refined HR strategy that aligns with Leapgen’s mission, culture and strategy, resulting in innovative practices and policies, and a BRILLIANT WORKFORCE EXPERIENCE. Operationally, the person will be responsible for:

  • Enhancing our onboarding experience, assimilating high-caliber talent.

  • Providing HR guidance on special projects, HR analytics & reporting, talent reviews, training, change management, organizational design, diversity, inclusion & belonging.

  • Introducing innovative approaches to employee career development; Developing relationships with Leapers, learning their interests and strengths, as well as acting as a career coach.

  • Counseling people on HR, cultural and organizational challenges.

  • Coaching and counseling managers to both develop themselves and others. 

  • Refining and administering Leapgen’s compensation & benefits programs.

  • Helping organize Leapgen’s Leap4All social good efforts.
