Robins Kaplan LLP has a full-time opportunity in our Minneapolis location for a talented individual to join our Human Resources team. In this role, the Talent Manager is responsible for helping build and strengthen a culture of excellent client service with the ability to provide a wide range of talent management services. This position reports to the Director of Talent and works in conjunction with the broader talent team.
Talent Manager Job Responsibilities
Job responsibilities in the areas of talent acquisition, talent management, employee engagement and retention, and HR administration and operations include: Recruitment, performance management, employee engagement, employee satisfaction and retention, leadership development, employee branding, and employment law compliance as well as ensuring efficiency and delivering on talent management goals.
Talent Manager Keys to Success
We are looking for candidates with demonstrated professionalism, analytical and critical thinking skills, ability to build effective relationships, strong organizational skills, and outstanding oral and written communication proficiency. Qualified candidates will also have strong HR functional expertise and be knowledgeable of applicable federal, state and employment laws.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree required. HR certification a plus, but not required. Must have 5+ years of HR or related experience, including experience in a leadership capacity. Prior experience in a legal services or professional environment preferred.
