Position Summary:

The Minneapolis HR team has a need to add a Contract Recruiter to our dynamic, innovative, and quickly growing Talent Acquisition Team! In this position, you would be responsible for full lifecycle recruitment of positions across the United States. Specific tasks would include posting positions, screening applications, conducting phone interviews and video interviews, and building strong relationships with Hiring Managers in order to effectively facilitate the hiring process. You would help with positions spanning from sales, marketing, finance, and engineering to lab-based positions such as scientists and research associates.

This is a full-time, contract position, expected to last 3 – 6 months. Because this position is a contract need, benefits are not offered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for assigned requisitions, including partnering with Hiring Managers to complete an intake session, screening applications, sourcing additional candidates if needed, and conducting phone and video interviews
  • Use LinkedIn Recruiter to source additional candidates if needed
  • Manage and process applications in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) in order to effectively and quickly fill requisitions
  • Work closely with the HR Operations team to post positions, coordinate interviews, and offer positions
  • Build relationships with Hiring Managers to define position requirements and assess candidates’ qualifications
  • Train Hiring Managers on the recruitment process, to ensure a consistent and compliant process
  • Provide back-up support to HR Generalists as needed
  • Perform additional duties as assigned


Education and Experience:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Minimum 2-5 years of recruitment experience required
  • Minimum 1+ years working in a corporate recruitment environment highly preferred
  • Prior experience sourcing is beneficial but not required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and highly-matrixed corporate environment
  • Ability to build strong relationships and rapport with Hiring Managers in order to influence the hiring process
  • Ability to stay organized and hold strong attention to detail in order to manage a high volume of requisitions as needed
  • Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Ability to plan, organize, and multitask in order to complete assignments in an efficient manner
