We are looking for a Lead Talent Acquisition Consultant who will play a critical part in sourcing and identifying top talent at a rapidly growing organization.

As the Lead Talent Acquisition Consultant, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sourcing strategies to attract the best talent to Element, as well as driving the full-cycle recruitment process. In doing so, you have a significant impact on the business in terms of adding to and expanding our talent capabilities. Your recruitment portfolio will include roles ranging from operational to leadership in nature and will be based in Canada, U.S., or Mexico. As such you must have the ability to adjust your recruitment strategy to reflect regional differences. Additionally, you’ll provided day-to-day direction to other recruiting team members ensuring they are fully trained and following established protocols.
A Day in the Life
Ensuring best-in-class hiring manager experience by consulting with hiring managers to identify and understand responsibilities, job specifications, qualifications and required skills, knowledge and abilities for positions at all levels (entry level to senior leadership) and clearly defining roles and expectations in the recruitment life-cycle
Managing full-cycle recruitment from sourcing all the way through to day 1 employment (e.g., sourcing, interviewing, drafting offer letter, conducting background checks, etc.)
Focusing on the candidate experience, determine what is important to the candidate and effectively articulate Element’s value proposition as an employer of choice
Growing the Element employment brand through social media, internal and external communication, outreach (job fairs, relationship building with colleges, public organizations, etc.) and related efforts
Providing day-to-day oversight to other recruiters on the team ensuring they are fully trained and following procedures; act as SME (subject matter expert) on internal protocols as well as identify development opportunities
Leading various projects and initiatives to improve the candidate and hiring manager experience
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications or similar; in lieu of degree 10+ years of talent acquisition/Human Resources experience
Prior experience in recruiting for roles at all levels within a professional organization
Experience recruiting outside the U.S.; preferably Canada and/or Mexico highly preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in various MS Office software applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Experience with applicant tracking systems; preferably Workday
