ESSENTIAL DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES

• Identify and source appropriate talent for current open roles within the organization

• Manage the recruitment process and life-cycle, including initial assessments, interviews, and job offers

• Counsel candidates on corporate benefit packages, salary, corporate environment and core values

Use social media, job boards, internet sourcing, and other technical means to source candidates for open jobs

• Participate in employment events, such as career fairs

• Use applicant tracking system (ATS) software to track applicants through the selection phase through the on-boarding phase

• Screen resumes

• Perform in-person and phone interviews with candidates

• Administer appropriate company assessments

• Perform reference and background checks

• Work to ensure compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations including OFCCP (Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs) and National’s Affirmative Action Plan

• Work with internal teams and hiring Managers to assist with internal hiring efforts

• Create new hire employment file

• Maintain applications/resumes per retention procedures

• Regular and predictable attendance

• Rescind conditional job offers and send appropriate adverse action documents

• Maintain memberships and affiliations with professional organizations related to industry

• Develop advertising programs to ensure visibility

WORK ENVIRONMENT/ CONDITIONS

When applicable and appropriate, consideration will be given to reasonable accommodations.

• Normal everyday hazards or discomforts typical of offices, meeting rooms and training rooms

• Comfortable levels of temperature, ventilation, lighting and sound with exposure to deviations from pleasant environmental conditions is only occasional

• Always work indoors (occasional travel between local offices and/or hiring events)

• Often exposed to sound and noise levels that are distracting within normal, everyday office setting

• Work near other people, but usually within own office setting

• The likelihood of injury is remote

TRAVEL

Minimal – between local office and/or hiring events

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to pass a Federal investigative background check

• No conviction, in the last five (5) years, of fraud or felony

• No convictions of any misdemeanor or gross misdemeanor involving identity theft or any other financial crime

• No defaulted Federal student loans

• No license to practice law that has been revoked or involuntarily suspended at any time

• Civil Judgement for failure to account to a client or customer for money or property; simply having a civil judgement does not disqualify for employment

• Must be a United States born citizen; cannot be a Foreign National

• Knowledge of employment law (federal and state)

• Minimum one (1) year recruiting experience or related Human Resources experience

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• 2-5 years recruiting experience or related Human Resources experience

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or GED

PREFERRED EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• BS/BA degree from an accredited college/university in Human Resources or related field

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended period of time; primarily sitting working on a computer

• Constantly communicate with applicants via telephone; must be able to exchange ideas by means of the spoken word; where detailed or important spoken instructions must be conveyed to others accurately, loudly, and or quickly.

• Constantly perceive the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without corrections, and having the ability to receive detailed information through oral and written communications

• Ability to occasionally move about the office to access office machinery, offices, restrooms, breakrooms, etc. 

• Ability to primarily work with fingers rather than with the whole hand or arm; typing, etc.; repetitive motions of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers

• Constant close visual acuity to perform activities such as viewing a computer terminal, reading, and analyzing information

• Exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including own human body
