We are seeking a Sr Talent Advisor in our Minnetonka, MN office.

What You'll Do:

The Sr Talent Advisor supports the talent life-cycle of Digital River employees including talent acquisition, talent management, learning and development, and employee engagement. This position looks for opportunities and drives the adoption of and processes to increase employee engagement from both the individual and company perspective. The Sr Talent Advisor supports recruiting efforts for mid- to high-level/complex positions. The Sr Talent Advisor researches target organizations to provide appropriate candidate prospects to their assigned areas.

Talent Acquisition Responsibilities:

  • Drives full cycle recruiting processes for mid- to high-level/complex positions for specific business units and/or geographic areas
  • Manages full life-cycle recruiting process
  • Collaborates with business leaders, Talent team, and HR Business Partners to develop a strategic business partnership between business units and/or geographic regions supported
  • Works with hiring managers, with minimal guidance, to build and develop recruiting strategies focusing on innovative ways to find top talent
  • Utilizes active candidate pools, personal networks, and direct sourcing techniques to fill positions quickly
  • Proactively recruits through network/networking, mining resumes, and selling career opportunities to potential candidates to attract best-in-class talent
  • Manages relationships with external recruiting resources as needed
  • Proactively identifies potential issues or concerns through understanding of HR Compliance and Practices
  • Administers new hire paperwork and offer documents, ensuring completeness to facilitate a smooth on boarding process
  • Provides guidance and support to team members including but not limited to building relationships and recruiting strategies, networking with potential candidates, etc.
  • Provides seamless, best-in-class candidate experience with high attention to detail, diligent follow-up, and strong verbal and written communication skills

Talent Advisor & Talent Management Responsibilities:

  • Serves as a resource for employees, supporting their career at Digital River. This includes but is not limited to:
    • support for training
    • career development
    • employee relation guidance
    • individual development plan creation/execution
  • Partners with HR Business Partners and Leaders to support corporate initiatives and processes including
    • employee engagement
    • annual performance cycle
    • succession planning
  • Teams up with HR Business Partners and Leaders to understand the talent opportunities and challenges at play in their respective regions / lines of business
  • Supports ongoing evaluation of company talent relating to human capital planning, providing insights and recommendations on current employees, and building candidate pipelines for identified key roles and/or skill gaps
  • Uses data and analysis to support resolutions to inquiries/challenges to guide decisions and next steps
  • Looks for areas of process improvement, makes recommendations for enhancements, and implements changes relative to all areas of talent management

Network Building Responsibilities:

  • Attends networking events to build a network of resources and candidates
  • Serves as a brand marketer and ambassador by:
    • attending events and selling DR
    • thinking of and sharing creative ways to brand DR opportunities
  • Continuously builds network of resources, both internally and externally
  • Uses their network to proactively source for open positions
  • Provides guidance and/or assistance to other team members to connect to potential candidates in their network
  • Builds relationships and partners with internal leadership and teams to increase consistency and capacity to align strategy, design organizations, and support the management of change

What You'll Need to Succeed:
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution
  • Knowledge of industry trends
  • 3-5 years of in-house technical recruiting experience, across various technical and engineering disciplines
  • Drive, raw ambition and determination
  • Proven self-starter with the ability to work independently in a matrixed environment
  • Proactive thinker, innovative and flexible in approach
  • Experience engaging and partnering with local, international HR Business Partners on local HR matters

Preferred:

  • Certifications in either HR or Recruiting
  • Global recruitment experience
  • Experience working with Cornerstone and/or LinkedIn Recruiter
