The Head of Talent Acquisition is one of the critical leaders responsible for driving the talent strategies necessary to achieve our company’s strategic goals through people. As a direct report to the Global Head of Talent, this role is a part of the Global Talent Leadership team, and partners closely with our business lines, HR Business Partners, and other HR Centers of Expertise.
We are seeking an expert leader in attracting and hiring of talent into the organization and for designing the internal mobility strategy for the company. This role is accountable for the design and implementation of talent acquisition strategies; supporting business objectives, optimizing talent acquisition operational capabilities globally, maximizing recruitment technology, developing employment brand marketing, ensuring a high-quality candidate experience, and measuring results in all aspects of TA.
The Talent Acquisition team is responsible for the full life-cycle recruitment process including partnering with hiring managers to define talent needs, creating and delivering recruiting strategies, and driving the sourcing, selection & hiring processes throughout the company.
This role is can be based in our Minneapolis headquarters, or in one of our talent hubs with frequent travel to our headquarters.
Provide strategic and day-to-day operating leadership of the Talent Acquisition team for all levels of hiring and partner closely with the Director of Executive recruitment.
Lead the development of the global staffing strategy aligned with organizational objectives to ensure business goals are met.
Manage and develop a team of talent acquisition professionals focused on the diverse needs of our business; elevating strategic and sustainable executional capability across the team.
Provide consult to business and HR stakeholders on talent acquisition related topics, including marketplace trends, talent availability, and sourcing and selection strategies while also ensuring legal compliance and resolution of any recruitment related needs.
Lead the development of a candidate pipeline management approach to acquiring talent, including sourcing strategies to increase passive, qualified & diverse candidates. This role will work closely with other leaders on the Talent team to align workforce strategies to business requirements. It will require a consultative partnership with HR and business leaders in identification and prioritization of current and future talent needs, based on the strategy of the firm, including succession planning, diversity & inclusion, and business line people plans.
This role will be accountable for diversity recruitment and will partner with our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion team to identify & implement strategies ensuring a diverse candidate pool, and increase diversity hiring and support our inclusion goals.
Continuous evaluation and enhancement of the recruitment operating model; implementing structures, tools, and processes to improve productivity.
With a firm wide global perspective, lead employer recruitment brand strategy regionally, including social media strategy, and implementation with internal and external partners.
Oversee successful execution of programs including: internal mobility, diversity, university, referrals, contractor programs, etc.
Manage recruitment budget and reporting on spend and ROI for recruiting tools, sources, and programs. Own oversight and data integrity of talent acquisition related data, software, and systems including applicant tracking system in partnership with the Technology team and our HR Operations center. Design business reviews to track talent acquisition success metrics and communicate key insights.
15+ years of progressive Human Resources or Talent Acquisition experience, to include at least 5+ years of leadership experience in Talent Acquisition.
Demonstrated results in identifying and implementing impactful, enterprise-wide, efficient improvements related to recruitment strategies, operating models, hiring capabilities, process and practice improvements, and talent pipelining.
Experience developing and motivating a recruiting team, as well as leading through organizational change. Must have change management leadership capabilities.
Demonstrated success in leadership, strategy development and execution; must have developed and implemented enterprise-wide TA strategies and programs with strong ROI
Financial Services industry experience is preferred.
Strong working knowledge of/experience with enterprise-scale talent acquisition technology platforms. Knowledge of Work Day a plus.
Knowledge of employment law and regulations as they relate to Talent Acquisition
- BS/BA required.
