Job Description

The Talent Acquisition Director is responsible for the leadership, development, implementation and communication of the Talent Acquisition strategy, structure, people and processes across the company. This role oversees a wide variety of internal talent acquisition professionals as well as numerous external vendors and partners. 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the talent acquisition team to excel in sourcing, screening, selecting and hiring talent as well as serving as strategic recruiting partners to the business; provide performance and career development feedback
  • Lead and mentor the talent acquisition team to discover and implement creative solutions to staffing challenges, strategically partnering with hiring managers, and ensuring best in class candidate experience
  • Evaluate and manage third party providers to ensure high service, manageable costs and effective outsourcing
  • Oversee the implementation and on-going maintenance and enhancements of the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Manage new and on-going analytics, metrics and reporting to evaluate the effectiveness of talent acquisition strategies and activities
  • Develop and implement workforce planning and competitive intelligence strategies to ensure strong responsiveness to business needs
  • Lead the development of effective recruitment and employer brand strategies to create a strong pipeline of candidates and attract top talent
  • Partner with hiring managers to develop, implement and execute the recruiting strategy and selection for key leadership roles and other roles as needed
  • Stay current and ensure organizational compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
  • Oversee and help create strategies designed to meet and maintain diversity and inclusion objectives
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience; HS diploma or GED is required
  • 7 years of work experience in recruiting/talent acquisition, with career progression
  • 3 years of people management or supervisory experience
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship

Additional Qualifications

  • Demonstrated proficiency in sourcing techniques with experience recruiting for a broad range of positions
  • Demonstrated knowledge of employment laws, regulations and guidelines
  • Strong relationship building skills with candidates, hiring managers, recruiting and HR colleagues and vendors
  • Ability to work collaboratively within HR and Business functions
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including strong phone and persuasion skills and the ability to develop effective presentations using data to effectively communicate key messages
  • Strong financial acumen and attention to detail
  • Proven conflict management and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with a variety of ATS systems
  • Knowledge of and experience in healthcare or PBM industry

Minimum Physical Job Requirements

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
  • Constantly required to sit, use hands to handle or feel, talk and hear
  • Frequently required to reach with hands and arms
  • Occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, and crouch
  • Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

  • Reports to an Assistant Vice President in the Human Resources department
