Position Overview:

The Talent Management Partner plays a key role in developing and implementing Talent and Performance Management processes and tools across Marvin. This role supports the Talent and Performance Center of Expertise in meeting Marvin’s current and future talent needs and is responsible for coordinating with stakeholders to identify and develop talent initiatives that will drive business results. 

Essential Job Functions:

• Leverage data to provide broad talent analysis and insights to drive momentum for talent processes and initiatives that meet business needs and drive growth
• Partner with IT to own the design and maintenance of Talent Management, Performance Management, and Learning Management modules of the HCM
• Provide analysis and insights of performance and calibration data for HR Leadership team to ensure optimal talent decisions
• Partner with HRBPs for coordination and execution of human resources cyclical processes including Talent Planning, Annual Merit, Performance Review Process and Great Place to Work
• Support the development and implementation of companywide performance management process and play key role in performance management model improvements
• Identify development needs of leaders and potential leaders, and partner with the Leadership Development team to identify and implement solutions
• Partner with HR Leadership, Diversity & Inclusion, and business leaders to develop data-driven mechanisms that help grow, evaluate, retain, and rotate key talent across the enterprise
• Proactively measure the return on investment business leaders achieve from the implementation of talent processes and programs;
• Evaluate talent programs, tools and resources used across the organization—evaluate the impact, scalability, and quality; Identify new ways of operationalizing talent programs if they do not provide the right level of expected returns.
• Support the design and development of succession planning tools and process for key positions
• Stay current on latest talent management program findings and trends, and identify and recommend improvements and changes where needed
• Adopt a human-centered design approach in development of programs and solutions, ensuring positive employee and stakeholder experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Proven organizational, project management, and problem-solving abilities
• Very strong interpersonal and collaboration skills; ability to influence various stakeholder audiences
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of HR data and information; strong sense of integrity and judgment
• Critical-thinking and analytical skills focused on proposing business solutions & driving process improvement

Education / Experience:

• 3+ years demonstrated experience developing and implementing HR projects focused on talent management processes including talent review, performance management and succession planning
• Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, organizational development, or related field; graduate degree preferred
• Experience with performance/talent management HRIS systems preferred
