How Will You Make a Difference?

  • Coordinate lateral and entry-level hiring for the litigation group in various U.S. offices of Fish & Richardson, the #1 IP litigation firm in the country
  • Be the initial point of contact for legal staff candidates and search firms, and communicate with them throughout the recruiting process
  • Work with recruiting principals to address legal hiring needs and arrange interviews for prospective candidates
  • Work with firm legal staff to coordinate the candidate recruiting experience, including scheduling interviews, preparing offer letters, and overseeing conflict clearance
  • Manage summer associate programs for assigned offices, including planning events, tracking summer budgets, coordinating work assignments and evaluations
  • Represent the firm at career fairs, on-campus interview programs and law school events
  • Support advancing diversity and inclusion through the firm’s recruiting programs
  • Contribute to firmwide recruiting initiatives by working on special projects

What Will You Bring to the Table?

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of recruiting experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work well within a team-oriented environment
  • Interpersonal skills that support effective relationships, and work professionally with a diverse group of attorneys, candidates and staff
  • Ability to change and adapt to a fast-paced working environment
